La lima da intagliare viene fissata su un supporto collegato a una ruota dentata mediante una vite. Sollevando manualmente un peso e lasciato ricadere svolge la corda e aziona, tramite ingranaggi e leve, sia la sequenza dei colpi del martello, che l'avanzamento del pezzo da intagliare. Questa macchina, completamente automatica è di grande interesse meccanico.

FILE CARVER
The file to be carved is fixed on a support, connected with a screw to a gear wheel. By manually lifting and then dropping a weight, a rope is unwound and drives, through gears and levers, the sequence of the hammerblows as well as the progressing of the material to be carved. This machine, which is completely automatic, is mechanically very interesting.
MACHINE POUR ENTAILLER LES LIMES
La lime à entailler est fixée sur un support lié à la roue dentée au moyen d'une vis. En soulevant à la main un poids et en le laissant tomber, il déroule la corde et met en fonction au moyen d'engrenages et leviers soit la séquence des coups du marteau, soit l'avancement de la pièce à entailler. Cette machine, complètement automatique, est de grande intérêt mécanique.
SCHRAMMASCHINE FÜR FEILEN
Die zu schrämende Feile wird an einem Lager befestigt, das mit einem Zahnrad durch eine Schraube verbunden ist. Beim manuellen Heben und Fallenlassen eines Gewichtes wickelt sich die Schnur ab und durch Zahnräder und Hebel steuert es sowohl die Folge der Hammerschläge als auch Vorschub des zu schrämenden Stückes. Diese vollautomatische Maschine ist von größem mechanischen Interesse.
